Springtime in Utah

This is the view from my front door this morning.  You have to love springtime in Utah!  The weather changes by the minute.  It was snowing yesterday morning, but by 5:00 it was dry enough for Blake to have a baseball game.  Unfortunately, it was not warm!  My girls and I about froze sitting on the grass watching the game.  We came directly home and had hot chocolate with our dinner.

As you can see, the weather has not been conducive to riding bikes and doing sidewalk chalk, like Paige has wanted to be doing, so we have been spending some time with one of Blake's favorite toys, that has quickly become a favorite of Paige's.  Here's a picture:
It is a Lego set called Lego Mosaics.  I got them for Blake a few years ago and luckily I though to laminate the instructions.  They are so fun.  There is a clear base that you put over the picture and then put legos on to make you creation match the instructions.  If you wanted to make it harder you could just look at the picture and count to make sure the pieces ended up in the right place.  I believe I eventually bought 2 different sets and I think they were only about $10 each.  Back when I got them, they were available at Wal-Mart.  However, yesterday after realizing how much Paige liked them and since there are a few pieces missing I thought I might try and pick up another set, but it seems like they may not make them anymore.  I am having a lot of trouble finding them.  I found this at Amazon, but that price is crazy!  I am so sad that they don't seem to be making them anymore because seriously they are the best toy!  If anyone manages to find them anywhere else, let me know.

These are adorable! I am sad to know that they aren't being sold anymore... I would love to get a set or two for my kids as well. Darn! I like the idea of lamenating the instructions too, I need to keep that in mind. Love your blog!
